A childhood in Hawaii, growing up in Indiana, figuring out the rest in California. I have been behind a camera for many years. I decided to follow my interest in the visual arts in high school, shaping my education at Indiana University in Bloomington. While at IU, I studied design and production through the school of Telecommunications. Here I began to learn the basics of editing and digital technologies, just as this technology was breaking into the mainstream. I left Indiana following graduation in 2002 to return to Hawaii. My plan was to work as a production assistant in a smaller market than Los Angeles, make my contacts and take that experience and network with me to LA. It was a valuable learning experience. I worked on productions of all shapes and sizes. I worked multi-million dollar features like "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," hit network television shows like ABC's "LOST," and dozens of national television commercials. Outside of film work, I worked behind renowned photographers such as David LaChappelle, Steven Sebring, and Anders Overgaard. I left Hawaii behind to travel, spending a month in Japan, and a month in Thailand. The sights and experiences I found were a welcome invigoration of my creative strengths. Upon returning, I made the move to Hollywood. Since moving I have begun to focus again back on those strengths and abilities with photography, editing, and more.

Sunday Morning
"Sunday Morning"
This video was created in an effort to show my photographic skills as translated into video work. I wanted to shoot something with natural light, that was also instructional yet interesting. I attempted to combine traditional cooking show shot with the more popular angles and movement found in today's cooking shows with a hostless, visual concept set to music. The intent was to create a feeling of cooking on a quiet morning that inspired the viewer to go and follow the video.
